Technical Product Manager Call 866-538-2606Description: This is an excellent Direct Hire opportunity for a seasoned and successful Product Manager, to contribute and be rewarded for their leadership and experience in this international organization. Our client, located in the Buffalo, NY area is looking for strategic and hands-on Product Manager to contribute to product development and marketing activities, with a focus on driving sales and business objectives for various product lines.Your leadership will effectively oversee new product development, pricing decisions, marketing communications, product segmentation and packaging/brand management. You will also play a key role in providing focus for the organization on identifying new and competitive opportunities for assigned products. This position is also a critical component of developing and maintaining successful customer relationships and innovative improvements to existing products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include: Developing plans and strategies for assigned products to capitalize on competitive opportunities and measure achievements. Develop and communicate product positions for key products through advertising, promotions and sales support materials. Manage the product commercialization process,which includes developing and managing cross-functional teams through product enhancement. Measures the achievement of product sales forecasts and growth targets for assigned products and determining product pricing for existing products and special pricing for competitive situations. Provide technical product and sales support for new and existing products and travel with sales team to support and understand customer needs and competitive issues. This is a critical position that requires proven success in demonstrated leadership, innovation, strategic thinking and strong relationship building and communication skills. This position is located in the Western New York area and offers a very competitive salary and benefit package. There is also relocation assistance available for the qualified candidate. Requirements: Successful candidates with have Education and Experience that includes: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field - MBA desirable 5+ Years in product management or product marketing experience.
