Producing incident reports and resolving issues. Maintain a relationship with the Texas Lottery administrative and operations division to report and resolve issues. Assist in supervising a team of computer operations staff or computer operations support staff and direct the training of new entrants.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Interface with local Operations Manager, ADM, Sales Teams, Field Teams, Comm Teams and Customer on a day-to-day basis. Provide support to QA and CAT phases of projects. Provide Computer Operations documentation and checklists and incident reports. Responsible for continuous trouble free operation of computer systems. Ensure adherence to prescribed schedules and operating policies and procedures. Assist in the recruitment and selection of operations personnel. Make recommendations regarding improved operating systems, tools, and procedures. Provide 24 hour front line operations support by mobile. Respond accordingly during system emergencies to minimize financial penalties. Investigate incidents in the production environment, develop incident reports and other follow up items to the customer base. Perform operations training as required. Request software changes and alert management of software changes to be made. SCOPE Complexity: Functions Responsible for or InfluencedModerate and details. Errors are usually found quickly. Minimal supervision, detailed procedures, guidelines and checklists. Frequency and complexity of internal business contacts Very frequent on a daily basis but very routine. Provide 24 hour back-up support to computer operations, high travel, fairly difficult environments.Requirements: EDUCATION Minimum education Bachelors Degree. Years Experience 3 5 years of related experience.
