WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?
The Team Leader is responsible within the scope of his/her team assignments for the maintenance of an operating environment in which Commercial Surety and Fidelity business objectives and service standards may be attained through conformity to established underwriting and marketing standards, compliance with administrative policies and procedures and the application of efficient and effective workflows and workload balance. The Team Leader is responsible for cultivating a positive working environment in which trust and respect is paramount, open and honest communication is reinforced, training and mentoring are key objectives, creativity and innovation are rewarded, teamwork is held in high regard and providing World Class Customer Service is our ultimate goal. As part of the Bond Center management team, the Team Leader is accountable for leadership effectiveness, business acumen, the effective development and management of staff, and the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
Each Team Leader is responsible for the team(s) assigned with respect to the above. Team members may include project analysts, underwriting staff (including trainees), service staff and administrative staff. Team Leaders report to the Director of Operations and will need to coordinate their efforts closely with entire BC Leadership team.

Possesses adequate level of knowledge of underwriting of the products handled by the Bond Center.
Uses and demonstrates 1-StepSurety with proficiency.
