We currently have a career opportunity for a State & Local Tax Senior, specializing in Property Tax, to manage multiple and challenging commercial real and personal property tax engagements and to contribute to the delivery of innovative tax planning ideas for our diverse clients. ResponsibilitiesContribute to client satisfaction by providing clients with timely and responsive services and work products. Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex commercial real and personal property tax concepts. Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management. Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations. Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Share tax planning ideas with others. Supervise the work of Staff professionals. Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals. Assist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans and assist in making quality decisions in complex and judgmental areas. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field (an advanced degree in tax or law is highly desirable) CPA certification, Member of the Bar, professional designation from the IPT or foreign equivalent certification a minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant property tax consulting experience, ideally within a professional services environment broad exposure to state and local taxation excellent supervisory, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
