Our core tax advisory business offerings in International Tax Services, State and Local Taxes and Federal Tax Services make up the business offering for our core Tax practice. As a member of E&Y's core Tax practice, you will have the combination of deep tax knowledge and a sophisticated understanding of business drivers to serve your clients to the best of your ability.We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior in our International Tax Services (ITS) practice. ITS provides a wide range of tax services for many of the world's largest multinational corporations. ITS helps clients identify and address complex domestic and international tax issues and assists them in strategically aligning different areas of taxation. E&Y has more than 100 foreign tax professionals from other jurisdictions who are working in the U.S. as part of our foreign tax desk program. ResponsibilitiesContribute to client satisfaction by providing clients with quality, timely and responsive services and work products. Supervise the work of Staff professionals. Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts. Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team and client management. Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.Thoroughly and accurately analyze information. Prepare practical and effective approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Share tax planning ideas with others. Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals. Assist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans and assist in making quality decisions in complex areas. To qualify, candidates must have: a minimum of 2 years of tax experience, ideally within a professional services environment CPA and/or LLM certification preferred broad exposure to international taxation excellent supervisory, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills PC proficiency
