Supply Chain - Source Specialist

Job Description:
Performs procurement related functions in support of numerous government and commercial contracts on the Consolidated Infrastructure Services Program (CIS) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and company policies and procedures. This includes source identification and recommendation, issuing RFQs, proposal evaluation, source selection, contract award post award administration statistical reporting.  Interacts with internal and external customers requiring coordination between organizations.


Required Skills:Understanding and application of the principles, concepts, practices, and standards pertaining to government procurement, including FAR experience and procedures. Knowledge of industry practices. Competent computer skills Sound communication and analytical skills Experience in generating various competitive and noncompetitive procurement instruments and post award administration. Security Clearance: TS/SCI

 

Desired Skills:SAP experience Strong interpersonal skills Negotiation experience Ability to propose, organize and implement process improvements Word processing, spread sheet and database skills.

 

Educational Requirements (including major):Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, or other related field (or equivalent work experience) and 2-4 years experience.
