Within PLM Group, PLM Delivery practice is responsible enabling technology solutions while leveraging best practice methodologies to help manage products across their entire lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life. PLM Delivery professionals within Accenture's Supply Chain Service line focus on delivering comprehensive business solutions across various industries adding significant value and delivering benefits with an emphasis on the positive impact on the organization's bottom-line. SCM PLM Delivery Manager will work independently in client facing situations as well as part of larger project teams in the design, development and implementation of new and improved business processes and enabling technology. Demonstrate understanding of core PLM processes and best practices to help an organization improve outcomes. Typical process areas include: • Portfolio and Program Management• Requirements Management• Part/BOM/CAx Data Management• Engineering Change Management• Component and Supplier Management• Collaborative Design• Collaborative Manufacturing• Supplier Integration Key responsibilities may include: • Support and/or guide team through problem definition, issue identification and work plan development using issue based problem solving principles• Gather and document technical and functional user requirements• Design and develop key PLM business processes• Perform software assessments (vendor agnostic)• Develop functional and technical specifications• Support development of application and technical architecture• Configure various PLM software to meet specifications• Develop custom code (including integrations to ERP/CAx)• Develop and execute test scripts, document outcomes, and perform analyze/fix bugs• Develop data architecture and manage data migration efforts• Support business readiness and change management activities prior to go-live• Provide user go-live and ongoing support• Ability to travel 100% is required Qualifications Basic Qualifications • Five plus years of experience in one or more of the following areas: o Technical Architecture design and development for enterprise-scale N-tiered applicationso Application Architecture design and developmento PLM best practice development and process designo PLM software configuration and code release managemento Management of custom software development/coding team, preferably in PLM, ERP, and/or content management spaceo Interface development and integration architecture implementations• 5 + years of experience with major PLM/PDM software (MatrixOne, PTC Windchill, SAP PLM, TeamCenter, SmartTeam, CoCreate, etc.)• Candidates must have a Bachelors degree with a major in computer science, electrical engineering, operations research, or other supply chain and computer technology area • Ability to travel up to 100% Preferred Skills • International language/culture skills, experience working in Fortune 250 environment Professional Skills: • 5 + years of experience with authoring tools (Cadence, Mentor, Synchronicity, UG, Pro-E, Catia etc.)• PLM to ERP integration (preferably familiar with materials, BOMs, documents, and/or change control)• Authoring tool to PLM integration (ECAD, MCAD, CASE, Requirements Mgmt, etc)• Training in OO analysis or UML• Development training in Java, C#, or C++• Test planning and/or execution experience• Large-scale data cleansing and conversion• Experience with productivity tools, i.e. Excel, Access, Visio• Candidates for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa All of our consulting professionals receive comprehensive training covering business acumen, technical and professional skills development.
