Stakeholder Outreach Associate - Office of Public Policy

Location:US-DC-Washington Job Number:WAS00002 Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description The primary projects the Stakeholder Outreach Associate will be responsible for are researching and collecting stakeholder background and contact information and assisting in ongoing stakeholder database management activities in Aprimo. This person will use the background information to develop stakeholder profiles and work with the Center forBusiness Knowledge (CBK) to obtain stakeholder affiliations and client status. This person will work to maintain data integrity and preparedness to implement external communications, reporting directly to the Supervising Associate for the Stakeholder Outreach team. Responsibilities Database Management (Aprimo)Routinely review stakeholder data, continuously researching stakeholder position movements for changes in affiliation and contact information, and updating master lists as needed. Maintain accuracy of the Aprimo database by editing, deleting and adding stakeholder information. Work with the Stakeholder Outreach team to assist in the execution of all external communications using Aprimo. Work with Aprimo project manager to produce reports as needed by Stakeholder Outreach team. Work with Stakeholder Outreach team to implement new processes as needed. Stakeholder AnalysisRoutinely review websites and press to obtain key stakeholder background information. Develop stakeholder profiles, for the Office of Public Policy, capturing background information on key stakeholders' current activities, public comments and issue positions. Determine relevant informatin on key stakeholders; maintain database and other organizational methods to track activities and relevant resources regarding stakeholder. Maintain hardcopy and electronic files of articles, speeches and other materials regarding key stakeholders. Work with CBK to periodically review stakeholder affiliation and client status. Bachelor's degree2+ years of relevant database reporting and marketing and communications experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and ExcelFamiliarity with research tools such as Factiva, Lexus Nexus, etc.Knowledge of database functionalityMeticulous attention to detail and organizationCritical reasoning and judgment skillsSome travel required, primarily local, e.g. New York or Cleveland
