Staff Analyst II

Overview:

Staff Analyst II supporting United States Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM), JO2HR, located in Norfolk, VA.

Responsibilities:

· Provide support to J02HR web services effort through coordination across the directorate and management of all J02HR web products.  Notify J02HR managers and provide direct assistance maintaining an accurate and viable J02HR presence on the USJFCOM external and internal websites.

· Support the use of various personnel-related databases.  Manipulate the MODERN Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) to generate various reports required to analyze the civilian personnel program.

· Review personnel actions prior to forwarding reports to Human Resources Office (HRO) Norfolk.

· Develop and maintain various databases related to civilian personnel, such as personnel action status report, on-board / vacancy information, civilian position report, and position tracker.

· Coordinate preparation of the bi-weekly civilian personnel status report. Preparing weekly reports and analyzing resulting data with respect to hiring trends, associated costs, personnel action metrics, and billet tracking.

 

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 8 years total work experience with prior background working in civilian personnel is required.

· Knowledge of MODERN Defense Civilian Personnel Data System and the ability to manage data input and output in the system is required.

· Previous experience working in joint military environment is preferred.

· Final secret clearance is required.
