Vulcan is currently looking for a talented Sr Network Engineer, responsible for representing a key component of Vulcan Inc.’s data network design and engineering team. The Sr Network Engineer is chartered with designing and deploying highly secure and reliable networks that meet Vulcan’s growing desire to utilize IP for transport of data, voice, and various A/V media types. To meet this desire and support the global mission of Vulcan, the Sr Network Engineer will be required to utilize both an in depth knowledge of Cisco Systems networking equipment as well as a thorough understanding of transport technologies.
Ideal candidates will have proven experience designing large, multiple platform networks, involving multiple global sites containing thousands of nodes incorporating various transports types and protocols. Candidate will also have Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited institution and eight plus years relevant experience.
