Description:Summary: Represent all GDAIS equities and capabilities across our major customers in the underwater Sensor and Surveillance market area. Provides the relationships, insight, and intelligence necessary to enable significant growth in qualified new business opportunities. Responsibilities and Performance Metrics:- Manage executive contact plans, define and articulate customer requirements, and provide trusted communications channels in a manner that ensures the growth objectives of GDAIS are met.- Understand the customers wants and needs, their product/technology roadmaps and track their acquisition and funding plans.- Represent the full capabilities of GDAIS to the customer community, keeping the brand name; in front of them.- Ensure that the Navy leadership team is able to make fully informed pursuit and internal investment decisions at the opportunity, customer, and market levels. Define and execute the intra-divisional customer relationship management process, including frequent formal feedback meetings with division and line of business leadership.- Maintain effective relationships with executive, legislative, and corporate partners, through corporate Government Relations, participation in studies and working groups, and leadership in trade associations.- Review and verify the operating plans of the Market by providing an independent assessment of the programs in the plans, including Pgo, funding amounts and award dates.* Position can be located in Greensboro NC or Fairfax VA.TS/SCIQualifications:Bachelors degree (emphasis in technical, business, operations research, or policy) or equivalent experience.Minimum of 12 years of related industry and/or government experience or demonstrated effectiveness to meet the managerial expectations.Prior business development experience required.Experience with NAVY customer and submarines required.Demonstrated high performance procurement and acquisition roles. Strong preference for an individual who has served in a combination of government and industry positions.Applicants selected must be eligible for access to U.S. Government classified information, and must obtain and/or maintain a(n) TS/SCI clearance and/or special access. Candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance at time of hire.
