Sous Chef/Food Production Manager - Corporate Dining - Rockville, VA

ARAMARK Business Services is looking for professional leaders committed to providing our customers with unique solutions, outstanding variety, and healthy menu choices to improve the overall well-being and productivity of client locations. As a Sous Chef/Food Production Manager you will coordinate, plan, participate, and supervise the production, preparation and presentation of food for a Corporate Dining location. You will also: Be responsible for purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring inventory. Maintain food production records and plans and costs menus. Devote at least 80% of time to managing food production activities. Directly supervise two or more employees with responsibility for hiring, discipline, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. Salary to $35K.  Promotional opportunities available! Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor's degree or related culinary degree with 2+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Food Production Manager in a restaurant or contract food environment. The ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer services is essential to success in this role.  Solid culinary, supervisory, organizational, and time management skills are required in this role.  P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable.
