Location:US-NJ-Secaucus Job Number:SEC0001J Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description The Specialist - Software Developer will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for assigned applications. The applications include, but are not limited to Aprimo, Partner Alert and the Office of Firm Security applications. This position requires extensive knowledge of the clients or product area's business functions. Essential Functions of the Job: Works with clients and technical lead to provide day to day technical support and maintenance. Reviews, prioritizes and manages all maintenance/support requests. May be the primary point of contact for client on maintenance and support issues. Insures required work is completed on time. Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities: Analyze and interpret business requirements and their impact on applications Assess and recommend system changes based on needs of clients. Recommend other changes to senior management. Ability to make decisions, sometimes with limited information, to keep applications running properly. Knowledge and Skills Requirements : Solid analytical abilities Excellent interpersonal, client service and communication skills The ability to work and team effectively with clients and other team members The ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds The ability to react appropriately during crisis situations including 24x7 availability during these situations. .Net, SQL Server 2000/2005, Stored Procedures, ASP.Net, C#, AJAX Microsoft IIS and web development experience Experience with Active Directory and Single Sign On Knowledge of Information Security techniques Other Requirements: Be available for Product/Service Line Support 24X7 Flexibility to work nonstandard hours Education requirements: A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience Experience: Approximately 5-7 years of experience in a medium to large environment, performing application development and support. Experience in business analysis and project management is desired Solid background and experience in .Net, VB.NET, SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2005, Stored Procedures, ASP.Net, C#, AJAX etc. is required. Experience developing with the Rational Unified Process is desired. Experience with the Aprimo application is also desired.
