Senior Marketing Manager

Located in Northeast Columbia, Pure Fishing, a leader in the sporting goods industry, has an exciting job opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager. The Senior Marketing Manager would be responsible for recommending, developing and executing strategies that will maximize brand and product communication at retail and at key events via merchandising, promotion, and other tools. Responsible for management of key events including BMC, ICAST, and major consumer shows. Proposes strategy for GrassRoots and events based on consumer and customer insights plus in-depth understanding of business needs. Customize promotions and merchandising activity for strategic accounts. Develop and execute national promotion plan. Evaluate and benchmark our promotions versus competition based on judgement, field and customer feedback.

Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related discipline preferred. A minimum of ten years experience in sales management or customer marketing or category management. Must be able to communicate effectively. Must be efficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Must have strong leadership and persuasive skills.
