Senior JDE Programmer Analyst

We are currently seeking to fill a Senior JDE Programmer Analyst position for our client in Des Plaines, IL. We invite you to review the position requirements below and apply today if your skills match our need.   Responsibilities: - Develops, designs, codes, tests, and debugs OneWorld XE / PeopleSoft 8.x programs and business functions - Troubleshoots application and end user issues - Supports OneWorld XE and migration to PeopleSoft 8.12 applications including change management, data conversion, other system integration, user acceptance testing, and end user training - Works closely with user personnel to help define system requirements and business process needs - Creates reports, business functions, menus, and forms design using the Enterprise One Toolsets - Administers security and change management - Provides leadership and solutions to improve the financial processes Uses C++, RPG, CL and Structured Query programming languages to develop and maintain applications for the IBM iSeries - Adheres to System Change Request process and procedures - Develops technical documentation to support development and business processes activities - Maintains knowledge of current technologies and awareness of business related trends for iSeries midrange and web related systems  Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or comparable experience - Minimum of four years experience with the PeopleSoft Enterprise One / J. D. Edwards World or OneWorld software, version 7.3 or greater with the major focus on the finance and human resource modules - Experience in developing and supporting applications in the IBM iSeries environment - Experienced in structured design and programming and well-documented coding - Working knowledge of JDE/Enterprise One package security and administration - Working knowledge of C++ programming and Crystal Reports; RPG programming a plus - Working knowledge of iSeries tools - CL, DBU, SQL and QueryWorking knowledge of Windows products-Adobe, Office, Internet Explorer   Apply now if your skills and experience are a good match for the position and remember this: At Harvey Nash, the door to opportunity is always wide open.
