Join us in our mission to improve the quality of healthcare through advanced IT solutions!Position Title: Senior Financial AnalystPosition Location: Yonkers, NY Responsible for the cost accounting function of a growing professional services organization including: * Job cost accounting for billable projects * Participate in the pricing for RFP’s, scope documents, and client projects * Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions * Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness * Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents as it relates to client engagements * Explain accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients * Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits * Prepare accounting analysis on a monthly basis * Work with senior management as required * Responsible for commission statements * Handle special projects as assigned by ControllerRequirements: * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance * Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles * Strong knowledge of cost accounting as it relates to professional services and pricing projects * Experience with proposals and billing required * Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections * 2 years public accounting experience required * 2 years of private accounting experience in professional services strongly preferred * Successful completion of CPA exams preferred * Proficiency in MS Office suite, Proficiency in Excel * ACCPAC and Clarity experience a plus * Ability to foster a cooperative work environment * Strong verbal and written communication skillsEOE - M/F/V/D.
