Position: Senior Developer/Development Lead

 

The Interactive Marketing Group (IMG), a New York/New Jersey-based marketing technology and services firm, is seeking an experienced Senior Developer/Project Lead.

Job Description

This position will be part of IMG USA’s product/application development team. This senior software engineer will be responsible for designing, architecting, developing, and implementing .Net based custom web applications and products. The candidate will take on responsibility for architecture, design, and construction of complex and critical .Net applications/products. The successful candidate must be willing to solve technical issues and resolve problems with existing applications developed on .Net and VB.  In-depth knowledge of the .NET Framework is needed. Responsibilities Design, architect, code, test, implement and document new web applications Monitor and maintain existing .Net and Web applications Interface with project management/account management teams and application developers to understand project requirements and meet user needs/expectations Act as an interface to outsourced development teams and other partner companies Coordinate the development efforts between solution delivery teams and remote development teams at our Mumbai partner offices as needed Support and enhance the existing applications and databases Participate in design decisions for new systems and functions Communicate project status to management

 

QualificationsApplication Architect / Software Developer / Analyst, VB.NET, Microsoft .NET / IIS environment, strong OOD / OOP knowledge, team development
