Senior Business Analyst - Financials

CGI's Banking and Investment group is looking to hire a Business Analyst to join there expanding team in the Markham office:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Translating customer product requirements into comprehensive, complete and accurate business requirements and functional specifications;
-Defining and recommending system solutions to meet business goals and product requirements
-Preparing application and related business training and materials;
-Developing and documenting business rules for conceptual design inputs;
-Developing and documenting conceptual designs for key system processes;
-Communicating conceptual designs and business rules to developers
-Participating in technical specifications reviews;
-Preparing test plans and executing business testing ;
-Working with the Documentation team to develop and review SMS (Shareholders Management System) user documentation;
-Providing Internal and External Product training

Required Work Experience:
Business Analysis experience and expertise at a senior level;
- Strong knowledge and experience in Mutual Funds industry is a must requirement for this position
- Decision making skills that are based on logical and careful analysis where data is important;
- Ability to meet high standards while working within clearly defined/strict policies;
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written;
- Patience and good organizational skills are important in the role.
- University degree in IT/Business or related disciplines.
