Sales Program Manager (Telepresence Solutions/Services)

The primary objective of this position is to manage the proposals/pricing exceptions process and lead the Proposal Evaluation Team (“PET”) as well as provide critical sales support, and provide new product/service launch support.   Primary responsibilities:Manage the customer proposal/pricing exceptions process (‘PET’) Act as a business partner to the field sales team by proactively and creatively helping them structure and analyze complex deals requiring an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors to maximize revenue yield and limit economic or legal exposure to the company.  Participate in strategic opportunity planning and customer contract negotiations as required.  Periodically review business practices and policies and as required implement improvements or updates. Document special business unit processes and policies and roll out training to field sales and contract teams. Identify and build working relationships with HP contract organizations Participate in revenue meetings to understand pipeline progress, deal flow, revenue issues and to provide feedback and input to deals Prioritize critical sales support requests, and provide supporting sales/marketing content as necessary Support critical existing sales tools (TCO and ROI tool), and provide updates as necessary Provide demo support as necessary Provide competitive analysis for Halo endpoints & managed service offerings: Drive creation of base sales/marketing content Drive primary data collection and research as necessary Provide forecast for current endpoints & managed services Provide quarterly installed base & market share updates Manage the current and future portfolio of Halo endpoints and managed service offerings, including: Core selling proposition Competitive positioning Core messaging content Manage launch of new endpoints, managed service offerings and experience or functionality enhancement options:   Basic product/enhancement overview, including pricing, core selling proposition, positioning, messaging BA/BS in Business Administration or Masters in Business Administration At least 7 years of experience in a marketing/sales analyst role; experience in sales or in a sales/front end marketing support role In-depth understanding of consultative selling process Extensive experience with pricing strategies and competitive analysis Strong background in sales/marketing fundamentals, and basic product/service portfolio management Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively facilitate decisions and achieve results are essential. Comfortable working under deadlines with multiple priorities Comfortable and skilled at working directly with customers Demonstrated ability to effectively work cross functionally with all levels of a company, particularly sales management. Ability to establish goals and action plans, set realistic timetables, and monitor progress towards their completion. Ability to identify and analyze problems using sound judgment and creatively determine solutions in order to effectively resolve issues. The ability to react quickly to changing priorities and instill the appropriate sense of urgency in others. Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
