Position Summary:MatrixOne?s Sales Executives represent the company?s products and services to new and current users, to an assigned set of accounts, through management of the sales process and virtual sales team in order to achieve maximum sales, profitability and growth. Desired Experience:? Successful track record selling PLM, PDM, ERP, SCM or other enterprise-scale manufacturing applications. ? 7-10 years of enterprise-scale software sales experience.? Relevant industry experience may include tenure with enterprise applications vendors such as: Oracle, SAP, J.D. Edwards, Infor, i2 Technologies, etc. ? Knowledge of the manufacturing process from product ideation, design, production and distribution.Position Responsibilities: ? Sells company's products and services to new and current users, to an assigned set of accounts, through management of the sales process and virtual sales team in order to achieve maximum sales, profitability and growth. ? Develops account development and sales strategies for assigned opportunities. ? Researches prospective accounts, evaluates customer needs, and satisfies customer requirements by developing configuration and proposals, product presentations, and the generation of sales orders. ? Leverages Sales Management in devising sales plans and strategies. ? Collaborates with supporting departments to develop field marketing campaigns and promotional communications. ? Prepares and performs complex product demonstrations and product prototypes for potential customers including product analysis, design implementation and product integration. ? Collaborates with Solutions Consultants (pre-sales) in meetings with customer's technical personnel to help in addressing complex product questions. ? Evaluates and summarizes monthly activity and forecast reports for management, identifying successful sales activities, sales trends, special account information or issues and any follow-up action required. ? Keeps abreast of products, applications, market conditions, competitive activities and promotional trends. ? Represents MatrixOne at trade association meetings and major selling events. ? May train less experienced sales executives. Scope/Level of Decision Making:Operates under general supervision with wide latitude for independent action. Applies a in-depth level of product and industry knowledge in selling the company's products. Knowledge/Skills/Experience:This is an experienced, senior-level sales position typically requiring a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant sales experience.
