Your tasks
The Random House Sales Division is seeking a Sales Associate to join their team. Supporting the RHPS Sales team and Distribution Clients, the candidate will have responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of many aspects of the RHPS Sales Department. Duties include: organizing sales information, materials, order forms, meetings, etc. as well as maintaining sales and client distribution lists, communicating deadlines, generating weekly/monthly sales tracking reports, distributing publicity updates and analyzing trend data. Attend trade shows/sales meetings when appropriate.

Our requirements
Prior experience in the book publishing industry is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills, excellent product knowledge and understanding of publishing functions. Ability to organize, prioritize and schedule workload. Must be a self-starter and self-motivator. Great opportunity to learn about the business aspect of publishing as well as the growing Random House Publisher Services team.
