Safety Technician II
Safety Tech II: University of Texas at Dallas. Will be responsible for the following: conduct safety training; construction/remodeling safety; general safety; after hours emergency response; cross training; professional certifications; maintaining related files and databases; evaluate work areas for safety and health hazards. Administer core Environmental, Health, and Safety technical programs including but not limited to Drivers Training, Electrical Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazardous Materials Releases, Lock Out-Tag Out, Hot Work Permit, Fall Protection, Construction, Fork Lift, Confined Space Safety and Emergency Response. Assist in Workers Compensation Insurance, Fire and Life Safety, Accident Investigation, and other programs as needed.
