SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

Woodbury Long Island based transportation / freight forwarding company is currently in search for an experienced Senior Accountant to assist controller with our international and domestic accounting department.Â

Â

Duties include, but are not limited to:

** Daily sales analysis

** Monthly Closing

** Bank Reconciliation

** Fixed Asset

** General Ledger analysis

** Monthly financial statement preparation

** Special projects as assigned

Â

Requirement:

** Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

** Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.

** Must be proficient in EXCEL.

** QuickBooks / SBT Pro Series a plus.

** Public accounting & transportation industry experience a plus.

** Self-starter & detailed oriented.
