SAP Configuration Analyst

We are currently seeking to fill a SAP Configuration Analyst  Title: SAP Configuration Analyst - (APO/MM/PP)  Location: Mundelin, IL Type: Contract to Hire   Overview: Our client a leader and distributing medical products has an immediate opening for a SAP – APO/MM/PP/ Configuration/Analyst.  We are seeking a dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in the SAP environment of a fast-paced, large corporate organization.  In addition to exceptional leadership and analytical skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleevesâ€� attitude.   Job Description:   Primarily responsible for designing solutions to business challenges in the product and functional area of SAP APO/BW systems and MM/PP modules in SAP R/3.  Works closely with the business community to perform functional analysis for designing solutions, evaluating options that include but are not limited to: new program development, configuration of existing systems, business process redesign, new package/system evaluation or a combination of these options.  Understands enough about each option to evaluate multiple options and recommend the best course of action based on requirements coverage and effort required.  Demonstrates functional product knowledge within area of responsibility.  Serves as an IS point person for addressing issues and enhancements related to the specific product and functional area.  The challenging responsibilities of the position include: * Communication with end-users & team members * Gather Functional/Business requirements from users & sponsors * Author & Communicate business process design (BPD), business systems design  (BSD) and system test plans * Schedule & perform BSD Walk–through with development team * Support the development team members during detailed design & coding phase * String & system test execution * Production support   Qualifications include: * College Degree required * 1 year SAP systems experience required in APO - DP and/or SNP modules * 4 years total SAP systems experience required in MM/PP/APO areas of SAP R/3 * Previous Development experience a plus * Strong communication skills – both written and verbal * Ability to organize & balance multiple projects/priorities * Must be self motivated with capability to work independentlyLooking forward for your response at the earliest, so that we can speed up our recruitment process.
