Road Manager
Summary: Responsible for preparing sales tools, displays, vehicles and the scheduling of personnel for on the road meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Insure that the correct vehicles are loaded with enough sales tools for the venue type and size. Train all team members in the use of POS (point of sales) systems. Must have knowledge of inventory management. Must have leadership and management experience; will manage 3+ employees. Setup and maintain sales tools while at the meetings. Provide security of all monies; before, during and after the event. Communicate with purchasing to ensure that there is sufficient inventory for all upcoming events. Use strong customer service skills to communicate with customers about product needs and questions.
Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree a plus; CDL a plus. Must have leadership and management experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 3 or more as needed employees in the Road Team. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualified candidates will be required to travel 50% - 60% of the time, and be able to lift 50 + lbs./ have a CDL / inventory control, cash handling experience (at all events), professional demeanor and excellent Customer Service skills.
