Replenishment Analyst

Wilton Products Inc., a leading designer and marketer of cake decorating, housewares, crafts and home décor products has an immediate opportunity for an Inventory Analyst in our Inventory & Forecasting department. JOB SUMMARY

Manage the replenishment of either components or finished goods.  Use MRP to plan and purchase inventory requirements from our vendors, both domestic and foreign.  You will work with Vendors, Product Management, Customer Service and the DC to ensure we meet or exceed our customers’ expectations while maintaining the proper inventory levels.  You will work in the JDE, Purchasing, Inventory and MRP systems, work on Vendor Capacity Planning, analyze inventory levels and communicate daily with our Vendors.



 

RESPONSIBILITIES



· Advise management of the schedule conflicts/status, material availability and problem potentials, relative to meeting the customer’s expectations and within the Company guidelines

· Communicates with vendors regarding requirements, capacities and schedules

· Inventory reporting as assigned

· Work with Product Management to ensure promotional and new products are delivered to meet our customer’s expectations

· Communicate with the Demand Planners regarding promotion events and customer forecasts

· Participate in Tent Sale, Sales Meetings and Physical Inventory as assigned

· Perform routine system maintenance, purchase orders, etc. to obtain product required on a timely basis

· Review MRP to purchase and reschedule supply

· Issue and expedite/delay purchase orders to suppliers

· Receive and review vendor commercial invoices and review for accuracy

· Review and resolve invoice discrepancies

· Work with vendors to resolve order and delivery issues

· Communicate and collaborate with Supply Chain partners regarding procurement information relating to vendors, customers and capacity

· Manage inventory levels while maintaining acceptable fill rates

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Operations, Logistics, Finance or Marketing

· 2-5 years of forecasting, buying or planning experience in a distribution or import consumer goods company

· Strong technical skills (Excel, Access and Outlook)

· Excellent organizational skills are required

· High level of written and oral communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Ability to work cross-functionally in order to meet deadlines
