Relocation Project Manager

We are seeking highly-qualified professionals to provide “white glove� service to higher education administrators, faculty and staff.

As a Relocation Project Manager (RPM), you will provide strategic oversight for client relocations on new construction and renovation projects; and, will be responsible for all Pre-move, Move, Installation and Close-out phase activities.

Essential Functions:

•      Identify, coordinate and manage all move-related tasks, activities and communications.

•      Collaborate with and serve as liaison between movers; project management team members; contractors; architects; furniture and equipment vendors and installers; other consultants; and user groups.

•      Identify and communicate milestones,critical tasks and issues.

•      Prepare schedules, sequences and layouts; coordinate furniture and equipment delivery schedules.

•      Organize and conduct move coordination meetings; prepare agendas and minutes; attend project management, contractor and other meetings.

•      Create and manage budgets.

•      Prepare bid and task order requests, scope of work and other documents; receive and evaluate bids; determine lowest responsible bidder; issue notice of intent to award letters; and, complete other public bidding processes.

•      Provide public sector procurement and purchasing services.

•      Interview client occupants to plan  furniture and equipment relocation needs for new construction, renovation and swing space projects.

•      Identify key vendors; prepare written move instructions; coordinate installation and connections of furniture and equipment.

•      Provide movers for the physical relocation; coordinate move activities, including furniture and equipment deliveries.

•      Manage close-out of all move-related activities including punch lists and documents.

Requirements:

•      Minimum 3-5 years related experience( public sector project experience preferred)

•      4-year college degree preferred

•      Outstanding customer service abilities

•      Written and verbal communications skills

•      Flexibility and adaptability to change

•      Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
