Regulatory Specialist

Seeking a long-term care regulatory specialistto join the Association staff in its central Ohio office.

 

 

Description: Analyze regulatory/clinical materials and developments Advocate members’ interests to regulatory agencies & others Train members on regulatory, clinical, quality topics Answer members’ questions on regulatory/clinical issues Verbal/written communication of information to members Responsible for committee coordination/management

Required Qualifications: Located in central Ohio or willing to relocate Familiarity & experience with regulations affecting skilled nursing facilities (F-tags, Life Safety Code, MDS) and with facility operations Good written & verbal communication/advocacy skills, including public speaking Ability to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications: Registered Nurse Experience with assisted living regulations Familiarity with Microsoft Office products

General: Salary dependent on experience Good benefitsStrong opportunity for advancement
