Job Description

The Regional Sales Director role is a key revenue producing position within the Entiera organization responsible for new business revenue achievement.  The Regional Sales Director position is a hunter position responsible for identifying, qualifying and closing opportunities specific to our target and vertical market strategies.  The person will lead the sales efforts and responsible for goal achievement in selling Entiera’s Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) application and solution.

Key Responsibilities

§  Responsible for revenue and Total Contract Value (TCV) annual achievement

§  Responsible for achieving sales pipeline objectives

§  Responsible for identification, qualification and closing strategy for all qualified opportunities within territory

§  Responsible for developing proposals and working with Sales Management to develop deal P&L

§  Report directly to SVP of Sales

Required Qualifications

§  4-year degree and MBA preferred

§  7 plus years experience as a proven hunter, managing and achieving annual sales quotas in excess of $1.5 Million booked revenue and $10 Million in Total Contract Value within the Database Marketing, Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) category

§  Highly skilled in prospecting independently to uncover new business opportunities within a new-entrant and entrepreneurial situation

§  Strong background in sales process and methodology especially in pipeline development, prospecting, qualification and closing

§  Strong entrepreneurial, business acumen, marketing and financial background

§  Proven track record of solution-oriented and qualification-based sales approach and methodology including excelling in team-selling environments

§  Experienced and proficient at C-Level executive engagements and carry a C-Level peer-to-peer presence

§  Deep level of expertise within Financial Services, Retail and or Telecommunications industries

§  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

§  75 percent of time spent in field for business development related travel and remaining time is home-office based
