Regional Branch Manager
Massachusetts based Generator and HVAC Service Company seeks an experienced manager for our West Springfield office. Qualified candidates will be results driven, motivational leaders who take initiative to make practical and timely decisions. This job requires excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with our field technicians, subcontractors, headquarter management and our clients. Multiple, simultaneous projects make for a fast paced and varied work environment. The Branch Manager needs to have a sense of urgency for goal achievement as well as anticipating and trouble-shooting problems.
This position involves direct oversite of the entire branch location including its staff, facilities and service accounts. Responsibilities include establishing the priorities for the activities of technicians located in western MA, CT, NY & NJ while developing strategic plans to ensure that the Company provides quality service, operates within budget, meets scheduled project deadlines and reaches financial performance objectives. This job requires strong analytical & technical abilities and demands prompt but carefully thought-out actions. Strong leadership and control of the work process from beginning to end is necessary.
Minimum education of Bachelor of Science degree or 5 years management experience in the technicial service industry is necessary. Must be detail oriented, thorough and have keen business sense with a strong focus on budget and controls. Must be a team leader able to manage and direct others and make decisions or recommendations on subsequent actions to be taken.
The ability to stay focused and maintain continuity of workflow despite changng conditions is a required skill. There is critical follow-up and accountability on all tasks.
This position also requires a solid knowledge of commercial air conditioning, an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, and the ability to use Microsoft Office tools.
