Recruiting Specialist
Cleveland Corporate Services, and its education-market sales division, SmartEd Services, has served Ohio and seven surrounding states for nearly twenty years. We are primarily a classroom technology-based company that sells interactive whiteboards, education software, video security surveillance over IP, and professional development for teachers in the K-16 space. We are the 3rd largest SMART Technologies reseller in the U.S. and Canada out of nearly 500 resellers.
We are seeking congenial, professional individuals to become members of our award-winning team.
This is a full-time position in a comfortable section on the outskirts of downtown Cleveland with free parking. The building which houses our headquarters maintains a smoke-free and drug-free environment. The general feel of our office atmosphere, although dynamic, motivating, and fast-paced – remains warm and laidback.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:
· The Recruiting Specialist will meet with department heads and the hiring team to discuss open positions and the relevant responsibilities and qualifications for each position.
· Collaborate with Hiring Team to gather information for job descriptions, and compile descriptions to accurately reflect the position and its responsibilities and qualifications.
· Post and advertise job descriptions through traditional and unconventional means, whether that be through print advertisement, internet job boards, or traveling to Career Fairs. Experience working with internet job boards such as CareerBuilder and Monster a must.
· Pre-screen and identify qualified candidates through resumes via email, fax, mail, and/or online applications. Conduct initial phone interviews to further assess viability of candidacy.
· Coordinate and supervise screening, interviewing, and pre-hire process, while working closely with hiring team to expedite decision-making.
· Create and manage candidate files and ensure hiring team has access to files during interviewing.
· Ensure adherence to EEOC during entire application and interviewing process. Working knowledge of equal opportunity employment standards and compliance a must.
· Work with hiring team during offer process to guarantee an efficient transition for new hires.
· Work with HR team during new hire orientation and on-boarding as needed.
Required qualifications:
· 3-5+ years of related professional experience.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business or related subject.
· Excellent written and verbal skills, with a strong background in business communication.
· Ability to manage multiple job descriptions and applicant pools at once and prioritize efficiently.
· Effectively communicate information in an articulate and concise manner.
