Recruiter/Human Resources

The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for the full life-cycle of the recruiting process, from sourcing to hiring. This individual will build and manage a nationwide pool of highly professional and marketable candidates through developing ongoing relationships and consistent follow through. Periodic travel to job fairs required. · 2 to 5 years experience recruiting in corporate environments . Ability to work closely with hiring managers and define the job descriptions . Experience in hiring professionals for the power industry, a plus . Knowledge in both technical and non-technical areas such as engineering, information technology, accounting and finance, HR administration, etc. . Confidence in dealing with senior level managers of the company. . Excellent written and oral communication · Source, screen and interview candidates. . Comply with company policies, EEO and ADA guidelines. . Interact with search firms and employment agencies . Work closely with college placement personnel to perform campus recruiting. . May perform new employee orientation · Experience posting/searching jobs on various job boards. · Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel . Experience in PeopleSoft applicant tracking systems a PLUS Good knowledge of HR and personnel practices and principles, all applicable labor, pay, benefits, health and safety laws and regulations. Knowledge of recruiting techniques and employment policies and procedures, including all applicable EEO and ADA regulations. Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
