Receptionist and Switchboard Operator

IKON currently has an opening for a Receptionist to work at a customer location currently located in West St. Louis County (zip code 63141).  This office will be moving to Gray Summit (zip code 63039) in November 2008.  The hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm.Position ProfileProvides exceptional service to the business by greeting/assisting all visitors and answering and transferring incoming calls from all over the United States. Also provides exceptional support and service related support to clerical and administrative duties through all mediums including correspondence, presentations, manuals, newsletters, meetings company activities, etc. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities Greets the public.Distributes name badges to visitors, temporary employees, etc.Answers and transfers calls from all over the United States.Participates enthusiastically in company and community service events.Performs light Administrative duties.Performs PC Support and Administrative duties as needed.Responsible for the timely updates of the following: Company phone and speed dial lists, Brag Board and Company Calendar.Assists Administration or any other team when needed for various tasks (envelope labels, compiling manuals, etc.).Responsible for ordering, maintaining and distributing promotional items for Promotional Store.Creates proofs, revises and edits written material as needed. Handles internal and external correspondence. Makes travel arrangements. Creates and maintains departmental filing systems. Updates calendars. Uses and coordinates maintenance for local office equipment. Coordinates logistics for meetings, net meetings and conference calls: location, communication, resources, etc. Serves as Scribe for meetings as needed. Maintains department logs, reports, and/or data entry for functional databases. Cross-trains and learns other responsibilities within the team and provides assistance as needed. Builds professional relationships with customers and other teams. May coordinate with Finance for resolution of budget variances and/or expense application.Additional duties may include: Provide outstanding customer service via the phone and in person Pick-up, sort and deliver incoming and outgoing mail Operate large volume duplication equipment Perform job finishing and quality control Pack and prepare boxes for shipping Maintain accurate records and logs in an organized manner Interpret written instructions on Copy Instruction forms for accurate completion of copy jobs Maintain copier, add paper, toner and staples, clean glass, clear paper jams and obtain suppliesQualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications) Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Requires 1+ years of prior multi-line switchboard experience. Requires Intermediate computer skills-Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
