QA ENGINEER

Quantlab is a dynamic, technology-oriented firm engaged in the development and operation of electronic trading systems for its proprietary hedge fund trading operation. Founded in 1998, Quantlab is responsible for a significant share of the daily volume traded in the global financial markets and represents an established presence in the high frequency electronic trading field.

 

To support our continued growth, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer.

Essential requirements of this position include:

· 6+ years experience in software quality engineering

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

· Expertise in at least one major scripting language (Awk, Perl, Python, etc.)

· Understanding of the software development life cycle

· Ability to work within a task-oriented team environment

· Excellent documentation, reporting and communication skills

· Knowledge of Microsoft Visual SourceSafe or AccuRev

· Ability to formulate and communicate creative solutions to complex problems

 

Experience of the following is advantageous but not essential:

· Experience with trading or other financial systems
