Purchasing Manager

Position Description:

Purchasing ManagerKV Pharmaceutical is seeking a Purchasing Manager. The Purchasing Manager performs a variety of buying responsibilities concerning the negotiating, ordering, pricing, blanket orders, contracts and documentation of MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operating Supplies) as well as large construction contracts and production equipment purchases. This also includes the expediting of these purchase orders to insure timely delivery as required for departmental needs. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar buying position. Good negotiating skills, mathematical skills, and knowledge of the accounting system are needed. Familiarities with building and construction codes and with OSHA and FDA regulations are vital as applicable to the job functions. Applicants must be familiar and proficient with personal computers and possess a working knowledge of Windows 2000, Word, and Excel. Working knowledge of J. D.
