Come join our award winning team and enhance your skills in a full time, part time or per diem position.Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Operations Research, Public Health Administration, or other related field. Masters Degree or clinical licenses (RN, MD, etc.) strongly preferred. Five (5)+ years of progressive project management experience in specified technical area (experience in health care environment strongly preferred). Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret quantitative and qualitative analyses. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including capacity to represent KP WFD when interacting with local leadership and external agencies / schools / potential funders. Demonstrated ability to work in a labor management partnership environment. Experience working with an interest-based problem solving approach preferred. Ability to work as part of a team. Experience with workforce development, career counseling and/or employee training programs preferred. Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with competing priorities. User knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) Knowledge of database software (such as Access) strongly preferred. Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with workforce development and/or planning, Human Resources, Training, etc. or related field. Qualifications: This position will provide project management support to various LMP Workforce Development program initiatives including management of Workforce Development Committee/Subcommittee groups, maintenance of SCAL Training Matrix, assistance to medical centers with respect to their local training needs, as well as assistance with application for and management of future workforce development and training grants obtained by KP. Provide project management support to Regional Workforce Development Committee, subgroups, and special task force working groups. Create and maintain relationships with local community college, educational and training institutions. Develop, update and manage comprehensive training database matrix for SCAL region. Assist with development and implementation of education, training, retention, student outreach and community-based strategies to meet medical center and area workforce needs. Work with local labor and management representatives at each SCAL medical center to establish workforce development committees, programs, tools, communications, etc. in order to ensure successful utilization of WFD regional/national resources at local level. Assist with preparation of and implementation / management of applications for workforce development and training related grants. Leads and provides expert technical leadership to highly visible, sensitive and multi faceted projects. Sets strategic direction of projects. Develops project plans which identify key issues, problems, approaches, performance metrics and resources required. Designs processes to address identified problems. Establishes team membership and negotiates time commitments and resource allocation. Provides staff leadership to multi disciplinary teams, as well as manages work of outside consultants. Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings. Acts as liaison, problem solver, and facilitator. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. Provides guidance to team on performance and productivity issues. Designs research plans for data gathering and analysis. Actively participates or may lead in analyzing data and developing recommendations and action plans. Accountable for the development of project documentation for senior executives and other key clients to facilitate sharing of project outcomes and best practices. Plans and facilitates meetings. Makes formal presentations to various senior level audiences. Establishes procedures regarding implementation of project outcome. Assesses project impact on workforce. May include developing training program for different levels of audiences. Establishes effective professional business relationships with all levels of management. Instructs and educates on all aspects of project. May develop and manage a department, including recruiting, coaching, performance evaluation of staff.
