Project Manager

Advaiya works closely with various teams throughout Microsoft as well as some of the newest technologies; to help develop demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, games, sample code, whitepapers, architecture guidance, and much, much, more.

We are seeking professionals who are passionately goal oriented, able to inspire and motivate team members while driving project objectives to critical deadlines. A strong customer service based approach is core to their outlook on business. This person has to be able to lead by example. The ideal candidate willingly embraces knowledge areas, identifies and assists with the development of new service offerings within a practice area.

Advaiya, Inc. is a fast paced environment where many established methodologies only partially apply. It is important to have a broad background where any combination of processes can be leveraged and blended with any other to successfully create a recipe for success.

Your responsibilities will include:

· Periodically identify new opportunities

· Periodically author & validate Statements of Work, Change Requests & work estimates

· Responsible for ensuring all project obligations are met · Responsible for all project related internal and external communications

· Responsible for the management of budget, risk, scope, quality & time

· Responsible for projects as they move through eachphase of the project lifecycle

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

· PM experience with solid foundational knowledge based on PMI methodologies

· Proven ability to deliver

· Extremely organized

· Have worked with global teams

· Be able to handle multiple projects (1-4) at any one time · Able to work in an unstructured and very dynamic environment

· Self starter and highly self motivated

· Superb verbal and written skills

· Consulting experience with a major regional or national consulting firm or comparable experience desirable

· Familiar with Microsoft Project and/or Microsoft Project Server

· Knowledge of or experience with the following project methodologies: Agile, RAD, RUP, Waterfall, Feature Driven Development, SDLC, Lean, 6 Sigma

· BS/BA, or equivalent experience is required.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

This is a full time position with Advaiya that offers a competitive compensation package including a strong starting salary of up to $80,000 - $100K + DOE), an aggressive bonus structure paid quarterly, and a great benefits package.
