Operations Manager – Corporate Event Production
A busy suburban Philadelphia corporate event Production Company specializing in sets and lighting seeks an Operations Manager to join our team.
About Us
We started our business in 1995 and have grown into a nationally recognized name in the corporate production industry. From our 48,000 sq. ft. facility, we handle shows large and small across the globe.
Job Summary
· Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations
· Oversee shop staff of about 10 employees including carpenters, welders, lighting technicians, and painters
· Will take set designs and create fabrication/build plans
Responsibilities
· Scheduling
· Material and supply purchasing
· Inventory control
· Trucking logistics
Requirements
Education/Experience:
· At least 5 years of experience as a production service manager or similar role
· Experience in set design, reading blueprints, and/or construction
· College degree is preferred
Skills:
· Excellent people skills
· Must be able to take set designs and create fabrication/build plans
· Proficiency with CAD or Vectorworks
· Familiarity with lighting equipment
· Theater background is a plus
