Product Manager--Online/Subscription Products

We are looking for a product manager to join our company. This individual will be responsible for the management of the online/subscription product lines. The successful candidate will have strong online application knowledge and hands-on product planning experience.

Responsibilities: Market Expert, including competitive tracking & analysis Business Planning: Business plan with P&L responsibility, tracking and management for each product line. (Profitability, New Customer Revenue, Renewal Revenue) Customer Champion: Understand the customer needs & market landscape, market forces and utilization of the product throughout its life-cycle Product Champion (internal & external evangelist): Conduct launch training, educate employees about value of products/features, drive programs encouraging adoption Product Road Map: Create long-term product strategy, release planning, and feature specifications. Ability to operate at the market strategy level, the user functionality level, and everywhere in between. Program Management: Provide product leadership across all teams to define strategies for product positioning, pricing and promotion, sales and customer service, training, competitive strategy Making build/buy/partner decisions/recommendations and identifying potential product specific partnerships.

Qualifications: A minimum of 3-years experience in online publishing, technology product, or product management Entrepreneurial spirit – a willingness and demonstrated ability to drive strategy and revenue opportunities Superior written and verbal communications skills are absolutely critical Solid understanding of UI design and usability Exceptional organizational skills including the ability to multitask and manage parallel schedules and budgets, and influence resources from other departments Experience in B2B online publishing in the HR, Compensation, Environmental or Safety markets a plus, but not required Solid understanding of P&L, marketing programs and sales channels including ecommerce and consultative sales

Education:

BS required, Master Degree preferred.
