Procurement Analyst

This position is responsible for all activities associated with the execution of Arrowstream’s purchased transportation expenses.

Responsibilities

 

1.       Create, execute, analyze carrier RFP’s on an annual and as needed basis

2.       Responsible for all lane rate estimations for Arrowstream Logistics

3.       Responsible for designing and executing cost and carrier analysis reports

4.       Make recommendations for carrier lane assignments as needed

5.       Negotiate rates with carriers

6.       Attend carrier meetings as available or needed

7.       Provide pricing or rate estimations on all Arrowstream Projects

8.       Provide pricing estimates on all Arrowstream Transportation RFP’s as requested

9.       Develop relationships with the Arrowstream Core Carriers



Education and Experience Requirement

 

Required Qualifications:

•          Advanced understanding of Microsoft Excel, Access, and other analysis software or tools

•          Ability to understand and extract information from the Arrowstream operating system

•          Knowledge of the truckload transportation industry and the factors that influence pricing

•          Ability to multitask and complete projects within established timelines

•          Ability to develop relationships and network within the truckload community

•          Ability to negotiate in a competitive transportation environment
