MAPEI is seeking an accomplished Process Engineer to join the team. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

·  Develops and improves MAPEI’s manufacturing processes in North America

·  Manages, develops, executes, and controls projects in support of this role

·  Directs and coordinates activities through group staff and/or associates in other groups personally or through subordinates

·  Ensures the processes MAPEI employs throughout North America are continuously improving in safety, functionality, productivity, and costs

·  Monitors parameters of the manufacturing operations at North American sites and is proactive in defining, developing, implementing and auditing improvements

·  Active participant of continuous improvement efforts in the Operations Group

·  Confers with management, engineering colleagues, sites’ staff, R&D, and Central groups in pursuit of continuously improving MAPEI’s processes

·  Participates in budget development in support of these activities

·  Executes projects in support of this role as well as other projects as directed

·  Works proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company

·  Actively assists in continuous improvement activities and offers positive suggestions for improvements and innovations

·  Communicates with coworkers, management, staff, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner

·  Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions

·  Responds promptly when returning telephone calls and replying to correspondence, faxes and emails

·  Acts, dresses, and behaves in a professional manner to reflect a positive image of the company

 

Minimum Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree plus 5 or more years manufacturing management experience  Ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environmentRequires proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointRequires a valid drivers license and a good driving recordBilingual communication skills in English, Spanish and/or Italian are desired
