Job Summary
•  In consultation with the Director of Business Development, set goals, strategies, timelines and metrics for Business Planning focused on the Demo Merchandising market.
•  Assume responsibility for all aspects of the sales team process to include the ability to manage, motivate and retain a high caliber sales team. Assist sales team in proposal preparation, client presentations and the closing of sales opportunities;
•  Define complementary activities that build out the demo capability of current Tandberg partners,
•  Create the certified pre-owned product line.
•  Assist/Drive the development of centralized, shared demo equipment tracking and scheduling tools & processes for the Americas Sales Team
•  Develop and execute programs to create market awareness and lead the sales team in formulating appropriate solutions and options;
•  Complete segmentation analyses to  identify the specific customer characteristics and define a unique value proposition.
•  Lead the team in sales prospecting activities that minimize new product sales conflicts, while establish Tandberg’s influence in the pre-owned communications equipment market
•  Identify and engage market influencers, associations, organizations, and other entities who will support the appropriate sales growth of these products..
•  Develop and maintain collaborative working relations with Vertical, Corporate and Product Marketing teams to design promotions, incentives and campaigns for various audiences
•  Overall deliverables include:
o  Sales forecasts
o  Product promotions
o  Market segmentation documentation
o  Product demo schedules

Knowledge
•  Technology OEM company culture, organizational structure, products and services;
•  In-depth knowledge of technology sales and processes most closely related to sales functions, including sales operations, logistics, and marketing
•  Concepts and principles of sales, marketing and customer service;
•  Concepts and principles of project management;

Education & Certifications (list any certifications, licenses, or accreditation required):
•  Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, a technical or related field preferred and 3-5 years of sales experience. In lieu of formal education, applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of sales management / leadership experience in a technology field, as well as a proven track record of achievement of assigned sales goals / objectives.
