Practice Support Associate

Location:US-OH-Cleveland Job Number:CLE00029 Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description Our National AABS Professional Practice - Standards and Methodology group is responsible for developing our Assurance policies and guidance based on current auditing and other professional standards. This person is responsible for supporting the National AABS Professional Practice - Standards group in the organization and administration of the master, archive and revised versions of our guidance, coordination of revisions with the GAMI Knowledge group, review of content distributed in GAAIT, and communication of changes to certain Professional Practice group members in other Sub-Areas/Areas. Key Accountabilities: Maintains primary responsibility for organization and administration of the master and archive versions of forms and templates and our EY audit and reporting guidance. Communicates with the GAMI Knowledge group (GAAIT Content Mailbox), content contacts in Latin America, Europe and Canada, methodology personnel and technology personnel (as needed), regarding changes to our guidance. Reviews content included in GAAIT to determine that updates were properly reflected. Assists in preparing announcements in A&A News and GAAIT What's New notices related to changes in our guidance. Provides assistance on an as needed basis related to non-technical questions on our forms and templates. Researches auditing and reporting guidance issues using GAAIT. Assists in making revisions to our guidance under the direction of the professional staff within the Standards group. Provides review package each week to the Executive Director responsible for GAAIT content. Experience: - Minimum of two years of work experience.- Possess ability to pay a high attention to detail and to manage projects well.- Strong organizational skills- Competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes.- Familiarity with Assurance practice preferred.- Excellent written and oral communication skills. Bachelor of Arts/Sciences or equivalent work experience.
