Ouside Sales Person in Niche market

My client is a well-respected/multi product lines company. Privately owned and in business for over 40 years. They hire one at a time and nurture the person. This company will not be going out of business or acquired.

Product lines are office business products and services. Currently there is an opening in one of the divisions for an outside sales person to call on municipalities and government offices with professional and consultive sale skills.

Selling an exclusive niche product line. Setting up appointments by telephone and then making sales calls. While the calls are not ‘cold calls’ you must be able to secure an opportunity to explore updating existing or installing new product(s).

Territory is 10 northern counties of NJ. Lots of current and potential customers.

Some sales experience is preferred. While a four year degree is not required some education beyond high school is desired. If you have established, trackable sales skills that is a plus.

A recent college graduate with some sales and/or customer service would be considered.

Base salary, bonus, company benefits, car allowance, phone allowance etc. A successful sales person can achieve a six-figure income by the third year and subsequent years.
