Senior Solutions Consultant of Oracle applications

We are one of the biggest ORACLE shops in Austin and are looking to add a functional consultant to our team as a result of growth. This is a great career opportunity for travelling consultants who want a financially stable, upwardly mobile full-time position with great benefits and little travel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engage with our Clients to ensure successful implementation of Oracle Applications. Determine Client requirements and design, develop, and implement the appropriate solutions.

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
• Solution implementation: requirements definition, solution design, user training, performance optimization, system test, and go-live support
• Development of enhancements to Oracle solutions
• Status reporting
• Identification of additional business opportunities
• Lead Client toward industry best practices and efficient usage of Oracle Applications
• Scope management
SKILLS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Position is 70% functional, 30% technical
• Significant experience in Oracle Applications 11i; key modules include:
• Purchasing
• Manufacturing modules (Discreet and OPM)
• Order Management
• Mobile transactions (WMS and MSCA) (most important)
• Solid understanding of Oracle Application interfaces
• PL-SQL coding experience, J2EE experience a plus
• BS or BA (preferably in Computer Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business)
• Proven ability to deliver add-on sales during an engagement
• Practical exp in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment a plus
• Must have good interpersonal/relationship management skills
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication ability
• Position requires travel (one week/month) and working at the client location
• Position is based in Austin, Texas
