NATIONAL ACCOUNT SPECIALIST
Our NATIONAL ACCOUNT SPECIALIST support and assist national account managers in signing and supporting national account prospects and customers with focus on driving sales in franchise groups; High level of accountability for selling to chain restaurant groups; Organize and conduct programs and projects aimed at validating RTI’s value propositions for national account prospects, and Identify, develop, and implement sales support projects, programs, and materials to be used by field sales group.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
· Identify franchise and national and regional account opportunities.
· Work cohesively with national account managers on national account sales initiatives and translate/teach/coach these initiatives to Depot sales and management.
· Work closely with the appropriate national account manager, local sales representative, regional sales manager, or depot manager responsible for the customers.
· Travel, as required and sometimes up to 100% per week, to prospect and customer’s offices / sites to secure new business, make presentations, conduct negotiations, training or organize projects, and maintain customer relations.
· Document daily activities and sales process in customer relations management (CRM) software.
· Cold–call and qualify potential prospects.
· Prepare reports of business transactions and business expenses.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION
· Education: Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
· Experience: 3-5 years of related experience and / or training; Prior experience selling to national accounts; Competencies in selling commodity, value adding items, and equipment.
· Ability to travel 75% of the time
