Purpose of Position:

Hitachi is looking for Microsoft custom development professionals who have a proven track record of success, aptitude, and experience.  The position requires a range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of a client engagement.  The qualified candidate would have proven experience developing successful Microsoft-based Biztalk and .Net applications and solutions.

 

Primary responsibility will be to define, design, develop, deploy, and transition complete enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies.  Will closely engage with key client personnel and participate in all areas of the development life-cycle.  Ideal candidate will have strong background in Microsoft technologies, .NET Framework (ASP.NET, WinForms, Web Services, etc.), n-tiered development, Biztalk, SQL Server, relational data models, and application architecture. 



We are seeking individuals with following skills:Bachelor's degree BiztalkMicrosoft .NET Framework (C# preferred)SQL Server Communication skills: strong presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written). Analytical skills, problem solving ability System design and solution architecture expertise General consulting skills, including: team facilitation and business case development. Previous consulting experience desiredProject management: lead small teams of 1 – 3 resources (both consulting and client employees), change management, conduct small meetingsProven/demonstrated team lead / mentoring skills Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio.Ability to travel up to 50% Relevant Microsoft Training/Certifications preferred (MCAD .NET, MCSD .NET, MCDBA)

Technical Skills needed:

 

Core Skills Required

• 2 – 8 years of experience developing or architecting Microsoft-based technology and business solutions, focused on a subset of the following Microsoft technologies (Sharepoint, .NET 3.5, Office, Duet, Performance Point, BizTalk, SQL Server, Exchange, Windows Server, CRM)

• Experience architecting SOA-compliant solutions in a consulting capacity

• Proven object-oriented design experience

• Familiarity with design patterns and development techniques such as the use of object-relational mappers and dependency injection

• Knowledge of automated testing and continuous integration tools (need examples?)

• Proven experience integrating Microsoft tools with enterprise applications

• Demonstrated experience developing both horizontal and vertical packaged service offerings

• Proven business development skills – supporting business development professionals in identifying and qualifying opportunities, and helping close business in new and existing accounts

 

Technical Specialized Skills Required

 

• Expertise in BizTalk 2006 R2, including WCF services

• Use of BizTalk in a continuous integration environment with unit testing

• Knowledge of human workflow packages such as K2 BlackPearl and MOSS Workflow

• Strong enterprise application integration skills including technologies like Duet

• Strong distributed messaging architecture skills

 



Functional Skills:

• Analytical skills, problem solving ability

• System design and solution architecture expertise.

• Proven/demonstrated team lead / mentoring skills

• Previous consulting experience

• Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Visio.
