Medical Bill Review Manager

Chartis has an opportunity for a Provider Bill Audit Manager in their Claims Processing Center.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

Plan, manage and evaluate work of staff, as well as make decisions regarding pay, performance management, and employment and staffing.

Monitor, analyze and evaluate Provider Bill Audit operations, including productivity and accuracy.

Resolve escalated billing issues.

Develop and implement procedures to maximize group efficiency and performance.

Analyze medical bills for appropriateness and billing accuracy.

Work system edits to achieve maximum bill audit and fee schedule savings.

Select provider records ensuring penetration into preferred provider networks and accurately applying network discounts.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Registered Nurse nursing degree preferred but not required.

Five years experience in medical bill review with knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding.

Two years supervisory experience.

Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities and problem solve.

Excellent analytical abilities.

Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Worker?s Compensation experience preferred
