SUMMARY/GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the development and implementation of all corporate-wide marketing initiatives to the Federal Government with a focus on Department of Defense and Department of Energy Programs. Primary areas of business focus includes: Base Operations Support, Services, Logistics, Construction, IT to include DOIM equivalent. Duties include: significant contribution to Corporate strategic plan, identifying target markets, developing marketing strategies, coordinating marketing staff and consultants, assessing competitive landscape, contributing to price-to-win analysis, conducting customer calls and attending appropriate industry conferences.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & JOB FUNCTIONS:Coordinate all Corporate-wide Marketing activities to include dedicated marketing personnel, marketing consultants and other corporate/subsidiary resources with Vice President Business of Development (VPBD). Ensure all activities resonate a clear and consistent message.Provide input as required into development of Corporate Strategic Plan.Responsible for the development and productive implementation of corporate Marketing Plan based on direction and goals as defined in the Corporate Strategic Plan.Develop and implement a target pursuit list to include customer call plans consistent with market strategies defined in the corporate strategic plan.Continuously assess likely competition.As required support price to win analysis.Prepare smooth hand-off of data, relevant material, and initial win strategy to Proposal Capture Team.In addition to Marketing, position may be responsible for all Capture activities and associated personnel.When necessary participate in proposal development process in any and all capacities.Aggressively support Operations Group, as required.Conduct frequent and efficient business travel as required in support of marketing initiatives. Submit trip report (goal of trip, who was met, what was discussed, plan for future communication with customer, etc.) within 3 days of return.Travel as required.JOB REQUIREMENTSMandatory:Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Business, Project Administration or related technical fields. Relevant experience and/or education may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.Minimum ten (10) years of Military, Contractor or Civil Service experience in business development, marketing, operations, project management, administration, contracts or equivalent fields.Proven history of self-motivation and professional growth. Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.Valid driver’s license.Valid US PassportCapable of frequent travel throughout United States and Pacific with rare occasions to other OCONUS locations.

Preferred:Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Project Administration or related technical field. Minimum five (5) years of work experience in government Services, Construction, or IT industry.Experience with Proposal Development.
