Location:US-NY-New York Job Number:NEW0009U Employee Status : Regular Job Type :Experienced Schedule : Full-time Description The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for implementing the Northeast Sub-Area's internal and external communications strategies. Responsibilities: Develop the marketing strategy and be responsible for managing the marketing budget and tracking the ROI of the marketing initiatives. Work with an anchor service line or industry practice to develop a marketing plan for that specific anchor or industry. Be overall responsible for all the events, mailings, newsletters, media, PR, and sponsorships and ensure that they are in alignment with the Area's strategy. Coordinate the creation of Area marketing collateral and brochures. Participate in market research projects as required. Internal communications responsibilities include: Working with the Northeast Sub-Area management team on leadership communications, including: Partner/Principal, Executive Director, and Director meetings and webcasts; All Personnel meetings and webcasts; voicemails and emails; Developing content - in collaboration with our service lines, industries, and locations - for the Northeast intranet site and weekly newsletter; Consulting with practice leaders to develop and help implement service line, industry, and location specific communications strategies; Supporting event communications, including: maintaining a calendar of events and developing/editing event communications, as needed Serve as the Northeast liaison to the Americas Communications group. May be responsible for the performance management of Event Manager(s). Collaborate with practice, industry and other firm leaders to develop market-facing initiatives that drive the firm's strategy. Work independently on marketing activities, sometimes managing the work of others. Oversee significant portions of major or highly complex projects. Receive general direction rather than supervision. To qualify, candidates must have: a bachelor's degree with a marketing or communications major; MBA a plus approximately 4 - 6 years of experience excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, including the development of junior staff excellent project management skills the ability to receive general supervision and work independently within an area of marketing activities This position also requires extended working hours, on occasion and as necessary.
